Rigging Main Sheet Raider Sailboat One Design Class Association |

Step 1: Run the main sheet through the cam cleat, then through the swivel block. Make sure the block is rotated the correct way if you wish to use of the ratchet feature. |

Step 2: From the swivel block the sheet runs up to the boom and through the first block in a forward to aft direction. |

Step 3: From the block the sheet runs through the webbing continuing aft. ( The webbing is used to prevent the sheet from hanging down when loose and catching on something). |

Step 4: From the webbing the sheet continues to run aft through the top of the block hanging on the aft end of the boom. |

Step 5: From the block the sheet runs down to the block mounted on the traveler. The sheet then enters the block from the aft and goes forward and back up to the boom. |

Step 6: From the block on the traveler the sheet runs back up to the boom and enters the lower opening in the block hanging on the aft end of the boom. As before the sheet enters from the front to the aft. |

Step 7: Secure the end of the sheet with a bowline knot. The other end of the sheet should have a figure eight stopper knot to prevent it from pulling through the blocks on a reach or run. |
